The footage recorded by the surveillance cameras on the night of 20th October 2020 has been submitted by Lekki Concession Company to the Judicial Panel of Enquiry set up by the Lagos State Government.
Soldiers were alleged to have opened fire on #EndSARS protesters at the Lekki tollgate.
Babatunde Sanwo-Olu, the Lagos State governor has earlier promised that the footage captured by surveillance cameras operated by the LCC was intact and would be submitted to the panel when they begin sitting.
The video was submitted by Abayomi Omomuwa, the Managing Director of LCC, Abayomi Omomuwa.
While submitting the video footage to the panel, Omomuwa said, “I can confirm that inside here is the video footage that our surveillance camera was able to record for the 20th of October.”
