Kaduna CP visits Zazzau emir, assures of new tactics to end criminal activities

The Commissioner of Police, Kaduna State Police Command, CP Yekini A Ayoku, on Monday, paid a courtesy visit on the Emir of Zazzau, Ambassador Nuhu Ahmed Bamalli.

The familiarisation visit was to seek for the royal father’s blessings and more collaboration from the revered traditional institution, Kaduna police spokesman ASP Muhammed Jalige said in a statement.

During the visit, the CP assured the emirate and the entire people of Kaduna especially the areas that have been witnessing series of bandit activities, that the command is reviewing its operational strategies, with a view to bringing an end to criminal activities throughout the State.

He thanked the Emir for his untiring support to the Police Command.

In his response, the Emir welcomed the CP and his entourage.

While commending the current efforts of the Police in the State, he appealed for the deployment of more personnel at strategic locations to check the activities of criminal elements around Zaria and environs.

He assured the CP of the support of the Emirate in the discharge of his duty.

The CP visited the Emir as part of his familiarization tour across the state.

He was accompanied by top Police officers, including the Zaria Area Commander, Commanding Officer 47Pmf Zaria, Commanding Officer 1Pmf along side other senior Police officers from the Command.
