Kaduna deputy governor unveils 5th set of Kashim Ibrahim Fellows

The Deputy Governor of Kaduna State, Dr Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe today unveiled the fifth set of young Nigerians to participate in the 2022/2023 Kashim Ibrahim Fellowship (KIF) program.

The 5th cohort of KIF comprises 24 young Nigerians between the ages of 25-35 years, 8 from Kaduna and 16 from other states of the country.

The 24 were selected out of the 6,983 applicants that registered online through a transparent and merit-based process.

The Kashim Ibrahim Fellowship is a one-year intensive leadership training program by the Kaduna State Government that seeks to develop and nurture leadership abilities across Nigeria.

In her remarks, Deputy Governor Dr Hadiza Balarabe said the program arose out of the vision of His Excellency, Governor Nasir El-Rufai for a greater Nigeria, and the dire need for the right kinds of leaders in Nigeria that will provide good governance.
