The Kaduna State Executive Council has approved a rotation of the heads of its Policy Councils which were established in 2019 to help promote synergy among MDAs by removing silo mentality.
The chairpersons of the Policy Councils are rotated as follows:
1. Infrastructure Development Council: Her Excellency, Dr. Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe
2. Human Capital Development Council: Balarabe Abbas Lawal, SSG
3. Economic Development Council: Jimi Lawal, Senior Adviser-Counsellor
4. Institutional Development Council: Muhammad Sani Abdullahi, Chief of Staff
The Policy Councils resumed weekly meetings today, beginning with the Human Capital Development Council where the outgoing chairperson, Deputy Governor Dr. Hadiza Balarabe, has handed over to the new chair, Balarabe Abbas Lawal.
The Economic Development Council now meets on Wednesdays, Infrastructure Development Council on Thursdays while the Institutional Development Council will meet on Fridays.
