Kannywood actress Wasila Isma’il has died, according to her close associates.
The late actress’s associates said she died in a hospital in Kaduna on Sunday morning after a period of illness.
She was about 46 years old and is survived by four children – three daughters and one son. In 2023, her marriage to Al-Amin Chiroma ended.
The deceased was one of the veteran actresses in Kannywood. She gained widespread recognition after starring in the film Wasila, which became popular over 10 years ago. She began her acting career in 1998.
The actress also worked with Liberty Radio in Kaduna.
