Engr. Tukur Hassan Tinglin, the Managing Director of the Katsina State Water Board, has passed on.
Engr. Tingilin died Thursday evening in an auto accident around Musawa while returning to Katsina after a condolence visit to Malumfashi.
His janaza (funeral prayer) will hold today at Bakin Kasuwa Juma’ah Mosque in Malumfashi after the Friday congregational prayer.
Born on June 10, 1978 in Malumfashi, Katsina State, Dr. Tingilin held a Ph.D. in Material Science and Engineering from the University of Science and Technology Beijing, China and a Master’s from Tianjin University of Technology and Education, also in China. He was also a graduate of Kaduna Polytechnic, Kaduna.
Tingilin is survived by two wives, and children. He held many traditional titles, including Zannan Galadiman Katsina, Walin Ƙafur, and Cigarin Danejin Katsina.
