- Child identified only as ‘Bilya’ cannot speak or state his origin
The Kebbi State Hisbah Board has appealed to the public for help in locating the parents of a young boy who was brought to its office.
In a statement issued on Friday, the Board said the boy, who gave his name only as Bilya, is currently unable to speak or provide details about his name or where he comes from.
According to the Hisbah Board, the child is in its custody while efforts are being made to reunite him with his family.
The Board is calling on anyone who recognizes the boy or knows his parents to urgently contact the Kebbi State Hisbah Board Office in Birnin Kebbi to facilitate his return home.
It also urged residents to help spread the notice so the boy’s parents can be located quickly.
