Kogi gov inspects 441 Special Constabulary

Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello, on Saturday, inspected the 441 Special Constabulary Police personnel in the state, after successful training at the Nigerian Police Training College, Ilorin, Kwara State.

Onogwu Muhammed, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, disclosed this in a statement on Saturday.

During the inspection by the governor in Government House, Lokoja, the State Security Adviser, Commodore Jerry Omodara (Rtd) said the Special Constabulary Police personnel are to assist law enforcement agencies in community policing, intelligence gathering and maintenance of law and order in their localities.
