Kwankwasiyya spokesperson, Binta Spikin, joins Ganduje in APC

The Spokesperson of Kwankwasiyya group, Binta Spikin, popularly called “Mama Kwankwasiyya” has defected from the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and joined Governor Abdullahi Ganduje in the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

She was on the entourage of the former Secretary to the State Government, under Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso’s administration, Engineer Rabi’u Sulaiman Bichi, who led other Kwankwasiyya followers to the governor as their final stage of defecting to the ruling APC.

In her brief address, Binta Spikin said they were at the Government House to congratulate the governor over his victory at the polls and his subsequent victories in the Election Petition Tribunal, Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court.

Adding that, “Your Excellency we are all here for a Greater Kano Project. As you can see, we are all Progressives who are interested in moving our dear state forward. We are deeply interested in the good healthcare service delivery for our women.”

“For our children we want see them having quality education. That is why we are all hailing your free and compulsory education policy Sir. This is highly commendable. As a policy for further developing our dear state,” she commends.

She said Governor Ganduje and Engineer Bichi have similarities of being gentlemen, focused, patriotic and patient leaders, assuring that, “Your Excellency we will give you all the necessary support and cooperation for your administration to succeed. Your success is also ours. It is also for the entire state.”
