NAF shortlists candidates for 2025 DSSC aptitude test

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has released the list of candidates shortlisted for the Zonal General Aptitude Test in its ongoing Direct Short Service Commission (DSSC) 34/2025 recruitment exercise.

The announcement was made on Tuesday, October 21, by the Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame.

He said the nationwide aptitude test will be conducted on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at designated centres across the country.

“Eligible applicants are to report for the zonal general aptitude test at the centres indicated against their names on the Portal,” the statement read.

Candidates who made the shortlist are advised to visit the official recruitment portal at https://nafrecruitment.airforce.mil.ng to confirm their names and test venues.

The Direct Short Service Commission (DSSC) programme offers an opportunity for qualified degree holders—both civilians and serving military personnel—to become commissioned officers in the Nigerian Air Force. Those who pass the selection stages will proceed for a rigorous military training programme lasting between six and nine months.

The 2025 DSSC application, which opened in August, invited professionals from various fields such as engineering, medicine, and cybersecurity.

The initiative is part of NAF’s effort to strengthen its workforce with specialised skills essential for modern military operations.
