Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have intercepted a female drug supplier to bandit groups operating between the North East and Chad.
Aisha Adamu, who is 28 years old, was arrested along Gamboru Ngala road in possession of 4.3 kilograms of Colorado, a potent synthetic strain of cannabis.
NDLEA spokesperson Femi Babafemi disclosed this in a statement on Sunday, noting that she was arrested in an operation in Borno State, on Wednesday, April 1.
While commending the officers and men of the anti-narcotics agency, Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of NDLEA, Brig. Gen. Mohamed Buba Marwa (Rtd) praised them for pursuing a fair balance between their drug supply reduction and drug demand reduction efforts.
