At least 19 people – including nine children – have died after a fire in a New York apartment building.
Sunday’s fire reportedly started on the second or third floor of the 19 storey building in the Bronx.
Fire department Commissioner Daniel Nigro described the fire as “unprecedented” in New York.
The blaze comes days after a fire at another apartment building, this time in the city of Philadelphia, killed 12 people, including eight children.
