Governor Abubakar Sani Bello of Niger State was in attendance, at the wedding Fatiha between Member of the Niger State House of Assembly representing Kontagora 1, Phalal Bako Mohammed and Hajara Kabeer Abdulfatah in Zaria, Kaduna State.
Governor Sani Bello who received the bride on behalf of the groom’s family, thanked Almighty Allah for the opportunity to share in the joy of the couple and to be part of the family.
He advised the couple to make Allah the foundation of their home and be patient with one another in their new life together.
N100, 000 was announced as bride price by Imam Suleiman Abubakar while Falalu Bello on behalf of the bride’s family acknowledged the payment of the dowry.
The Imam afterwards, performed the wedding Nikkah.
Speaker Niger State House of Assembly, Abdullahi Bawa Wuse led other State Assembly Members to the wedding.
Also at the wedding were members of the state executive council and the former Military Governor of Kano State, retired Col. Sani Bello.
