Niger State Government has appealed to the Federal Government to direct more military operation in terrorists infested Local Government Areas of the state.
The Commissioner for Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Internal Security, Emmanuel Umar who disclosed in a statement, said this will lead to elimination of the terrorists and make villagers return home for their farming activities.
The Commissioner commended the security operatives for neutralizing of many bandits, rescued victims and recovered arms and ammunitions during the recent operations in the areas.
