The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has reported 920 new cases of COVID-19 with Lagos, Abuja and Kaduna topping the list.
According to the figures released for Saturday, Lagos recorded 308, FCT-207, Kaduna-179, Plateau-46, Niger-43, and Adamawa-26.
Others are Sokoto-18, Rivers-16, Yobe-15, Enugu-13, Kano-13, Ogun-12, Delta-10, Edo-5, Osun-3, Oyo-3, Anambra-2 and Ekiti-1.
Meanwhile, the NCDC said “Our discharges today (Saturday) include 115 community recoveries in Kaduna State and 104 community recoveries in Lagos State managed in line with guidelines.”

It added that Nigeria’s tally has not reached 77,933 confirmed cases, 67,784 recoveries and 1,218 deaths.
Dateline Nigeria reports that states are taking measures to stop the second wave of infections, even as Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu said the state cannot afford another total lockdown.
