Dateline Nigeria reports that there is concern by the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 that states are still not doing enough testing.

Chairman of the PTF and Secretary General of the Federation Boss Mustapha expressed concern that many have stopped observing the Covid-19 protocols put in place by government, warning that this may lead to a second wave.

Alao commenting, a Personal Assistant on New Media to Buhari, Bashir Ahmad, said “The story is actually changing without many paying attention to it, the NCDC has just reported 675 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours.

“As much as we are happy Nigeria will receive 20 million vaccines in early 2021, still we need to do more before then. Let’s all wear a mask.”

Kaduna State Governor Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai had on Wednesday warned that another lockdown is possible in the state if the numbers continue to rise.
