Nigeria, Thailand sign MoU on technical cooperation, seek stronger economic partnership

The Federal Republic of Nigeria and the Kingdom of Thailand have expressed commitment to deepening economic cooperation and expanding bilateral trade and investment for the mutual benefit of both countries.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu, stated this when the two countries signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Technical Cooperation on Tuesday 25th August 2026 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Abuja.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Odumegwu-Ojukwu signed on behalf of Nigeria while Thailand’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Sihasak Phuangketkeow, signed for his country.
