The Nigerian Army has buried the officer and 10 soldiers killed during a peace keeping mission in Konshisha Local Government Area of Benue State.

The burial took place Monday at the military cemetery at Wurukum, Makurdi Local Government Area in the presence of family members of the slain soldiers.

Benue State Governor Samuel Ortom, who also attended the burial, expressed deep sympathies with bereaved families of soldiers, President Muhammadu Buhari, Chief of Army Staff and the entire leadership of the Armed Forces over the death of the soldiers.

He pledged his administration’s support for the bereaved families to enable them overcome the difficult moment even as he prayed God to grant the deceased soldiers eternal rest.
