An Islamic Association in Nigeria, the Northern Nigeria Youths Ulama Initiative, has described the candidature of Asiwaju Bola Ahmad Tinubu and Kashim Shettima as a welcome development which will bring more unity and progress in the country.
Zonal Coordinator of the Association, Dr. Ahmed Yakub gave the commendation Saturday during the courtesy visit to APC leader in Sokoto State Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko at his Gawon Nama residence Sokoto.
Dr. Yakub informed the Senator that, the Association engages in spiritual and educational Programs to the larger Muslim Communities while fostering peace, harmony and understanding to the world.
He further revealed that, Muslim-Muslim Ticket by the ruling APC in the country is a wiser decision that will bring more positive result in Nigeria.
The Coordinator, said on their own, they will mobilize more support for the success of APC in Nigeria so as to ensure the provision of more democratic benefits for all.
Earlier, while welcoming the Leadership of the Association, Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko who is also a member of the Muslim World League, thanked the Initiative for the visit and said the move is to ensure fairness to all.
The Senator, promised to work together with the Association in order to achieve the set objectives in which it was established.
The Zonal Coordinator was accompanied on the visit by other executive members of the Group that include; Imam Umar Hassan, Dr. Munir Usman, Mallam Bello M. Musa and Mallam Bashar M/Shinkafa.
The rest are, Mallam Shamsu Nayaya, Mallam Abbas Sa’idu and Mallam Rabi’u Yahaya.
