Mr. Abah explained that the delegation came to see the Lawmaker to felicitate and commend him for the good work he has started, and like Oliver Twist, to as well, draw his attention to other areas of need in the community.

The chairman explained the Okam Forum is a pressure group as well as an NGO that has been championing the development of the district. He said the forum has built a police post worth N5 million which was donated to the police and which has become a police division and also embarked on a health scheme.

The forum requested the Honourable Member to assist in the rescusitation of the St. Joseph
Central Primary School which they say is almost dead. The eminent personalities also drew his attention to the ecological problem in Ogbadibo which they say needs to be addressed immediately before it deteriorates further.

While thanking the Rep Member for facilitating the employment of many Okam youths, the forum tasked the Lawmaker to ensure the employment of more youths. The forum also commended the FeedBack Lawmaker for the outreaches he has made which they noted have empowered many indigent people like widows, orphans and the vulnerable in Enone!

In his remarks, Dr. Ottah Agbo encouraged constituents to always draw his attention to their developmental needs, saying it is their right to do so. “if I must serve my people well, constituents must constructively criticise me, ask questions to elicit responses because they have the right to know, as well as serve me with feedback. Iam in politics to serve. I have no enemy to fight, my enemies are underdevelopment, poverty, disease and ignorance ” he declared.

Dr. Ottah Agbo, popularly known as the Ozigizaga and Moving Train of Enone, explained that it is the right of the constituents to call his attention to areas where they need his intervention and demand for projects as that forms part of the reasons they voted him into office.

The Lawmaker said his passion for development spurred him into embarking on projects using his personal resources without waiting for budget provisions as he was in a hurry to bring development to his constituency.

He said some of the projects he has embarked on using his personal resources include the three trailer loads of Vitamin A fortified Cassava Stems, two boreholes he revamped in Orokam, the Legacy Bridge he built in Rijo, (in Utonkon District), and the completion of the rural electrification projects started by former Senate President, David Mark in Ulayi and Ijigban Districts..
