A pregnant mother of three, simply identified as Aisha Muhammad, has been killed in Kaduna by gunmen who also abducted her husband.
Aisha, who was expecting to give birth next month, was short dead few meters away from their residence. sources said.
The incident, Dateline Nigeria learnt, occured Tuesday night in Rigachikun on the outskirts of Kaduna meteopolis.
Aisha’s funeral held today even as concern mounts about the fate of her husband who is still with the gunmen.
The police in Kaduna are not immediately available for comment.
Meanwhile, Umar Muhammad Aso, who said he was Aisha’s classmate at Bayero University Kano (BUK), Computer Science, described her as “very kind, humble, quite and so religious.”
She was a staff of the National Board for Arabic and Islamic Studies (NBAIS).
