Ogun State Police Command has dismissed three officers involved in forceful extortion of N153,000 from one Sheriff Adedigba, a student of Lagos State University, who was travelling from Abeokuta to Lagos.
The three policemen are Inspector Sunday John, Sgt. Jimoh Asimiya and Sgt. Solomon Adedapo.

The Ogun State Commissioner of Police, CP Edward Ajogun had ordered the immediate arrest and detention of the officers, while the money was recovered and returned to the victim.
The CP appealed to members of the public not to hesitate to “report any officer of the command found doing anything that is not consistent with the law of land”.
