The Minister of Police Affairs Muhammadu Maigari Dingyadi has mourned the death of former Inspector General of Police Muhammadu Gambo Jimeta who died at the age of 84.
In a condolence message, Dingyadi described the late Gambo Jimeta as a quintessential police icon.
“My condolences to President Muhammadu Buhari, his entire family and the Nigeria Police Force over his demise. May Almighty Allah grant him eternal rest and comfort his family,” the minister tweeted.
