PRP elects Hakeem Baba-Ahmed as national chairman

The People’s Redemption Party (PRP) has elected Dr Hakeem Baba-Ahmed as its new National Chairman.

Baba-Ahmed was elected at the party’s National Convention held in Abuja on March 28, 2026.

In his acceptance speech, Dr Baba-Ahmed thanked members for their trust and invited decent, God-fearing Nigerians seeking solutions to join the PRP.

He criticized current leaders, saying they’re only interested in power, not solving problems. The PRP leader urged citizens to join forces, emphasizing that Nigeria can be fixed if people unite against exploitative politicians.

“We’re not after power; we’re after solutions,” he said. “We invite all Nigerians who care about the country’s plight to join PRP. With Allah’s help, we’ll change Nigeria.”

The leader appealed for support, saying the party will work for the people, not personal gain.
