Rep Francis Ottah Agbo, members representing Ado/Ogbadibo/Okpokwu Federal Constituency, has congratulated Major General Elias Adikwu Attu on his appointment as Garrison Commander, Nigerian Defence Headquarters, Abuja.
Dr. Ottah Agbo says going by the track record of General Adikwu Attu, he is confident that the needed push and impetus would be added to the efforts to secure the country from banditry and terrorism.
The statement reads:
“While the current security situation in Nigeria appears worrisome, it is heartwarming to see the efforts being made to address the situation which include deploying the right strategy and appointing the right calibre of persons in key positions.
“It is my belief that your appointment falls within this category and was necessitated by the need to have a competent and battle tested commander to drive the process for securing Nigeria from insurgency, banditry and terrorism.
“Going by your track record, I am confident that the needed push and impetus to win the fight would be added to the efforts to secure Nigeria.
