Retired doctors, nurses join Nigeria’s fight against COVID-19

Retired doctors, nurses, lab scientists and other medical professionals are volunteering services to fight COVID-19.

This is even as the federal government tasked governors to provide at least 300-bed space facilities in their states for isolation & Intensive Care of patients in case of upsurge.

This is disclosed by the Minister of Information and Culture Lai Mohammed on News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) forum.

The minister also disclosed that the federal government is seeking local sourcing of Personnel Protective Equipment as part of ongoing measures against COVID-19.
