An Islamic scholar Sheikh Abubakar Muktar Yola based in Adamawa State was on Friday involved in a road accident but escaped unhurt.
The driver of the vehicle simply identified as Malam Bello also survived the accident. He also had only simple fracture.
This is contained in a statement Saturday posted on the Facebook page where Sheikh Yola preachings are usually shared.
The statement was however silent as to where the accident occurred.
It said the information was necessary as many people become worried after coming across photos of the damaged vehicle in which the scholar was involved in the accident.
