The Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Shippers Council, Emmanuel Jime led his team to pay us a courtesy visit to Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde.
The governor disclosed this in a Facebiok post on Thursday.
“We discussed our commitment to the Ibadan Dry Port project timeline as the Nigerian Shippers Council are in charge of building the port.
“Hon Jime informed us they would approach the Federal Executive Council about the dry port next month.
“To show our readiness to see the project through, we have written to the FG requesting permission to rehabilitate the Old Oyo-Moniya Road as another access road to the port,” Makinde said.
