Eight Nigerian govs, Dangote, Sanusi, others attend Bazoum’s inauguration in Niger

The inauguration of Niger Republic’s new president, Mohammed Bazoum, witnessed the attendance of several governors and other personalities from Nigeria.

Dateline Nigeria reports that Governors Aminu Bello Masari (Katsina), Babagana Umara Zulum (Borno), Mai Mala Buni (Yobe), Mohammrd Badaru Abubakar (Jigawa), Abdullahi Ganduje (Kano), Aminu Waziri Tambuwal (Sokoto), Atiku Bagudu (Kebbi) and Bello Matawalle (Zamfara) all attended the event.

Niger Republic shares a common border with five Nigerian states: Borno, Jigawa, Katsina, Sokoto and Yobe.

Billionaire businessman Aljaji Aliko Dangote and former Emir of Kano Muhammadu Sanusi II at the event in Niamey

Nigerian business moguls including billionaires businessman Aliko Dangote and Dahiru Barau Mangal also attended the event which held at the Mahatma Gandhi International Conference Center, Niamey.

It would be recalled that Mangal donated vehicles and other items to Bazoum’s campaign.

The Federal Government delegation to the inauguration was led by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyema.

Former Emir of Kano Muhammadu Sanusi II was also there.
