Kaduna State Deputy Governor Dr Hadiza Sabuwa, on Sunday, served as the Special Guest at a Ramadan Lecture and Distribution of Palliatives by the Muslim Youths Foundation of Southern Kaduna.
The joint events held at the Sardauna Memorial Foundation in Kaduna.
Under the theme of “The Role of the Ummah in Entrenching Righteousness, Unity, and Progressive Socioeconomic Development,” the lecture delved into important discussions on working towards a better future for the society.
Dr Balarabe applauded the members of the foundation for their dedication in promoting righteousness, unity and peaceful coexistence which are crucial for sustainable development.
She stressed the need for the members of the global Muslim community to come together regularly and discuss ways to contribute to the betterment of their societies.
She also urged all to continue to work towards a more just, cohesive, and prosperous society.
Many scholars spoke at the event, including the Chief Imam of Sheikh Lawal Abubakar Jumu’ah Mosque Kaduna, Prof Yahaya Mujahid.
