The Department of State Services (DSS) has confirmed that Mr Godwin Emefiele, the suspended Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) is now in its custody for some investigative reasons.
Spokesperson of the DSS Peter Afunanya, PhD, said this in a statement on Saturday, about 24 hours after the suspension of the apex bank chief by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
“The public, particularly the Media, is enjoined to apply utmost caution in the reportage and narratives concerning this,” Afunanya said in the statement
