Tambuwal charges reinstated District Head of Yabo on fairness, justice

Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal has urged the District Head of Yabo, Alhaji Muhammadu Mai Turare II, to be fair and just in his dealings with his subjects and the discharge of his duties.

He stated this while receiving the reinstated Sarkin Kabin Yabo, Mai Turare II and the people of Yabo local government area who paid him a thank-you visit at the Council Chamber of Government House, Sokoto on Tuesday.

Mai Turare was transfered out of his domain, to Dandin Mahe disctrict, by the previous administration as a result of some misunderstanding with the government.

But after due diligence and consultations the Tambuwal administration found him not wanting of the allegations levelled against him; and, absolved him.

Gov. Tambuwal, who appealed to him to thank Allah for his reinstatement, noted that he has massive support of the people of his area.

He expressed optimism that being a Councillor in the Sultanate Council, the District Head will contribute immensely to the overall development of the state and the country in general.

Earlier in his remarks, the Chairman of Yabo local government area, Alhaji Haliru Abubakar Kilgori said they were in the Government House to thank the governor for returning Maiturare II as the Sarkin Kabin Yabo.

He said the development has been a great source of joy to the Moyijo family, the people of Yabo local government and beyond.

Also speaking, Maiturare II himself expressed his happiness over the gesture and prayed to Allah to reward the governor abundantly.

He also assured him of his unflinching support and cooperation to the state government and the Sultanate Council.
