Tinubu-Uba Sani support groups empower 1,200 Kaduna youths with startup funds

No fewer than 1,200 students trained under various skills acquisition programs graduated on Thursday in Igabi Local Government Area, Kaduna State, with each beneficiary receiving startup capital to launch their businesses.

The event was organized by the Tinubu-Uba Sani Mobilization Network in collaboration with the Renewed Hope Ambassadors Office, Kaduna State.

The programme is part of ongoing efforts to support youth self-reliance and reduce unemployment through practical vocational training, according to the support groups.

Dr. Abdulmumin Aminu Zaria, Chairman of the Tinubu-Uba Sani Mobilization Network, and Abubakar Mamadi, Renewed Hope State Coordinator, jointly supported the 1,200 graduates with the disbursement of startup funds at the graduation ceremony.

The graduates were trained in various trades under the skills acquisition scheme aimed at equipping youths with hands-on skills for economic independence in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the developmental priorities of Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State.

Speaking at the event, organizers said the initiative reflects the administration’s commitment to empowering young people and strengthening local economies through entrepreneurship.

Ammar Bin Yasser Abdulwahab, Personal Assistant to the Chairman, Tinubu/Uba Sani Mobilization Network, confirmed the details of the ceremony and disbursement.

The graduation in Igabi LGA adds to a series of skills and empowerment programmes being rolled out across Kaduna State to support the federal and state governments’ job creation agenda.
