The Chairman of the Senate Committee on Defence and Deputy Chairman, Senate and on Anti Corruption, Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko, has appealed to Nigerians to sustain their fervent prayers, for divine solutions to the myriad of socioeconomic problems plaguing the nation.
Senator Wamakko, who represents Sokoto North Senatorial District, made the plea at his Sahabi Dange Road, Gawon Nama, Sokoto residence, on Thursday, while addressing a mammoth crowd of APC supporters, shortly after his return from an official trip in Abuja.
Wamakko expressed optimism that the Almighty Allah will provide plausible solutions to the all the problems facing the country, including the high cost of food items.
He also prayed for the restoration of sustainable peace,unity and socioeconomic prosperity of the country .
Wamakko further commended the sustained support and prayers he has been enjoying from the cross section of the people of the state .
