The Vice-Chancellor, Federal University Dutse (FUD) Prof. Abdulkarim Sabo Mohammed has mourned the death of the Emir of Dutse, Alhaji Nuhu Muhammadu Sanusi.
The emir died on Tuesday at a hospital in Abuja.
Prof Sabo Mohammed, on behalf of the Governing Council, Management, Staff and Students of FUD, condoled the people and government of Jigawa State, especially Dutse Emirate over the death of the emir.
“The passing of his Highness is a huge loss to Jigawa state in general and Dutse Emirate in particular. We at the Federal University Dutse have lost a father and a pillar whose tireless effort was instrumental to the establishment and development of the University into the success story that it is today.
“We pray to Allah to forgive his shortcomings and grant him Aljannatul Firdausi. Amin. May Allah give his immediate family and the people of Dutse the fortitude to bear this huge loss. Amin”
