The spokesman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaogn council Festus Keyamo has reacted to the formal endorsement of the candidate of Labour Party (LP) Peter Obi by former President Olusegun Obasanjo.
Keyamo took to his verified Twitter handle to air his views of the endorsement, which has gone viral on social media, noting that it won’t have any effect on APC candidate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
He said it is within Obasanjo’s right to endorse anyone, but bad for Atiku because his former boss does not think he deserves to be president this time around.
“Quite within OBJ’s right to endorse anyone, but bad for PDP in two ways: (1.) Atiku’s former boss does not think he deserves to be President this time around (2) The little support OBJ gave PDP in 2019 & they failed, he has taken that away to LP. No effect at all on @officialABAT”
