Wike offers employment to three recipients of NYSC Presidential Award

The three Rivers State indigenes who received the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Presidential Award for their selflessness have been offered employment with the Rivers State Civil Service or scholarships for Masters and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in any University of their choice.

Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike announced this when he received the three indigenes at the Government House in Port Harcourt on Tuesday.

Gilbert Kiaka Goodnews during his National service, offered free ICT training to over 200 students in Bayelsa State.

Barr Miss Worlu Aruchi Rachael offered free legal services and secured the release of 22 inmates from jail in Yobe State.

Jasper Deebari Uchenna put up street names and signs on streets in Jigawa State during his national service.

Their service to humanity is commendable as they went above and beyond the call of duty to impact society, Wike said.
