Winners emerge for Aliyu Gusau Library Book Prize

Kaduna State Deputy Governor Dr. Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe today represented Governor Uba Sani at a prestigious event held at the Gusau Institute, where the highly anticipated annual Aliyu Gusau Research Library (AMRL) book prize was presented.

The ceremony celebrated the outstanding achievements of the winners in the unpublished Hausa manuscript category.

The winners of this year’s prize awards are Hauwa Shehu – First Prize, Rukayya Ibrahim Lawal – Second Prize, Fatima Sani – Third Prize

On behalf of Governor Uba Sani, the Deputy Governor extended her heartfelt congratulations to the prize winners for their exceptional contributions to literature and the advancement of the Hausa language.

She also expressed deep gratitude to General Aliyu Gusau and the Gusau Institute for their valuable investment in promoting the development of literature.

The Aliyu Gusau Research Library (AMRL) book prize serves as a catalyst for nurturing literary talent and encouraging writers to explore the rich cultural heritage of the Hausa language.
