Yellow fever: Rep commiserates with families of victims

The Honourable Member representing Ado/Ogbadigbo/Okpokwu Federal Constituency, Dr. Francis Ottah Agbo, has commiserated with the people of Ichama District in Okpokwu Local Government Council of Benue State for the reported death of four persons from an ailment suspected to be yellow fever.

Dr.Ottah Agbo in a press statement by his Media Adviser, Mr. Andrew Agbese, restated his call for the immediate commencement of total vaccination of people across Benue South and particularly in Ado/Ogbadibo/Okpokwu Federal Constituency.

The Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Narcotic Drugs and Spokesman of the Minority Caucus, prays God to grant the families of the four persons who lost their lives as a result of the ailment, the strength to bear the loss and urged the people to cooperate with the health authorities to overcome the challenge.

He urged the Okpokwu Local Government Authority and the Benue State Government not to relent in their efforts until the people are free from the ailment.
