The Emir of Zazzau Ahmad Nuhu Bamalli has derobed 84-year-old Ciroman Zazzau, Alhaji Saidu Mailafiya of his title over insurbodination.
The erstwhile Ciroma, a nephew to the Emir Bamalli, was among those who aspired to the Zazzau throne after the death of Late Dr Shehu Idris.
Dateline Nigeria reports that the District Head of Makera Alhaji Shehu Tijjani Àliyu Dan Sidi Bamalli has been elevated from Barde to Ciroma, while Alhaji Shehu Mailafiya Bamalli, a younger Brother of the ex-Ciroma, has also been promoted to the position of Barde from Makaman Gado Da Masu.
Also, Alhaji Halliru Nuhu Bamalli has been appointed as the new Makaman Gado Da Masu.
