The Emir of Zazzau Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli has directed the suspension of two District Heads and two other title holders with immediate effect.
Those suspended are: Ubangarin Zazzau Alhaji Bashir Shehu Idris (District Head of Soba) and Sarkin Dajin Zazzau Alhaji Shehu Umar Aliyu (District Head of Kubau).
The two others are: Wakilin Birnin Zazzau Suleiman Ibrahim Dabo (a member of Kaduna State House of Assembly representing Zaria city) and Garkuwan Kudun Zazzau Muhammadu Sani Uwais (Bursar, FCE Zaria)
A statement by the Media and Publicity Officer, Zazzau Emirate Council, Abdullahi Aliyu Kwarbai, said the district heads and title holders were suspended for violating Article III of the Emirate Rules and Regulations, which prohibits using armed thugs during durbar horse riding.
