Jigawa State Governor Umar Namadi has announced the death of his 24 year-old son Abdulwahab.
Abdulwahab died today (Thursday) as a result of road accident while traveling on the Dutse-Kafin-Hausa Road in Jigawa State.
His demise came barely 24 hours after the death of his paternal grandmother, Hajiya Maryam Namadi, the governor’s mother, who passed away on Wednesday.
Abdulwahab has since been buried in Kafin Hausa town, in accordance with Islamic traditions. This followed janaza (funeral prayer) at Imam Hassan Islamiyya School in Kafin-Hausa.
The late Abdulwahab is survived by his parents and many siblings.
