Kano State Governor Alh Abbah Kabir Yusuf has approved the appointments of a new Chairman, Executive Secretary and members for Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board.
Alhaji Yusuf Lawan is the new board chairman, while Alhaji Laminu Rabi’u is the new Executive Secretary.
Members are Sheikh Abbas Abubakar Daneji, Sheikh Shehi Maihula, Amb. Munir Lawan, Sheikh Isma’il Mangu, Hajia Aishatu Munir Matawalle, and Dr. Sani Ashir.
A statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, said the “The appointees are expected to take over the affairs of the board immediately to ensure successful 2023 Hajj operation.”
