The Kano State Police Command has announced the death of an armed robber who was hit by a car after snatching a woman’s phone along Zoo road.
The robber collected the woman’s phone after threatening her with a knife. But as he made to run away with the phone, he was hit by a car on Monday.
The Police Public Relations Officer of the command SP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa disclosed this on Tuesday.
“The robber that was hit by car has died today Tuesday, January 16, 2024,” Kiyawa said
The PPRO had earlier disclosed how they were called upon to respond to the incident and how the robber was taken to the hospital where he died eventually.
The deceased robber suffered spinal cord and head injuries as a result of the hit.
