The Kaduna State Government on Tuesday signed a mining partnership agreement with Trovec International Limited in an effort to attract investors in the mining sector.
This agreement includes a shared equity, demonstrating the government’s commitment to promoting the growth of the mining industry and boosting the state’s internally generated revenue (IGR) and economic diversification.
The signing ceremony, held in the Government House Council Chambers, was overseen by Deputy Governor Dr Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe on behalf of Governor Uba Sani.
Under this agreement, Trovec will conduct comprehensive geological surveys for mining licenses obtained by the state government. This is expected to open up opportunities for mining investments worth USD 2 billion.
