
In continuation of his maiden visit to Lagos, the Corps Marshal, Shehu Mohammed, paid a courtesy visit to the esteemed Nobel Laureate, Prof Wole Soyinka, at his Lagos residence on Tuesday, July 16, 2024.
During the visit, the Corps Marshal seized the opportunity to wish Prof Soyinka a happy belated 90th birthday, demonstrating his respect and admiration for the literary icon, who served as FRSC board chairman from 1988 – 1992.
Prof Soyinka, in turn, commended the efforts of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in ensuring safer roads and promoting responsible driving habits.
He also offered valuable advice on how the Corps can further improve their services to the nation.

The Corps Marshal expressed his gratitude for Prof Soyinka’s kind words and wise counsel, emphasizing the Corps’ commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.
