The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps has strengthened its commitment to sports development and personnel welfare through a strategic two-year sponsorship agreement with Kiakiago Travels in support of the NSCDC Football Club.
The partnership was sealed during a courtesy visit by the management of Kiakiago Travels to the Commandant General, Ahmed Abubakar Audi, mni, OFR, at the Corps Headquarters.
Leading the delegation, the Managing Director, Mustapha Abdulaziz, expressed the company’s enthusiasm in supporting the NSCDC Football Club, describing the initiative as a meaningful investment in youth development, discipline, and national unity.
In his remarks, the Commandant General, Professor Ahmed Abubakar Audi, mni, OFR, commended Kiakiago Travels for identifying with the vision of the Corps. He noted that sports remain a powerful platform for fostering unity and positive engagement, especially in a time when collective national values must be reinforced.
He assured the delegation that the Corps deeply appreciates the gesture and will ensure the partnership yields lasting impact.
As part of the visit, Kiakiago Travels presented an Award of Excellence to the Commandant General in recognition of his outstanding leadership and contributions to national security, which also earned his reappointment by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR
In a show of commitment to the partnership, the company also donated branded jerseys and training equipment to the NSCDC Football Club, providing a morale boost as the team competes in the Nationwide League One for the first time.
Kiakiago Travels and Tours, with operational presence in Abuja, Lagos, and Kano, offers a wide range of travel services including flight bookings, visa assistance, hotel reservations, travel insurance, education consultancy, and corporate travel solutions.
