Gov Mai Mala Buni of Yobe has appointed Dr Mohammed Goje as the Acting Secretary to the State Government (SSG).
This is contained in a statement by Buni’s Director-General, Press and Media Affairs, Alhaji Mamman Mohammed, in Damaturu on Wednesday.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Goje was the immediate past Executive Secretary, State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA), before the appointment.
NAN also reports that Goje replaces Alhaji Baba Malam Wali, the former SSG, who is now a governorship aspirant under the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The statement said Buni charged the new appointee to rededicate his efforts in the service of the state and the betterment of its people. (NAN)
