
The Zero Tolerance for Corruption Association, ZTCA, has honoured the Kaduna State Commander of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, CN Maijama’a Muhammad, with an Award of Excellence as “Icon of Integrity.”
The award was presented on Thursday, August 6, 2026, during a courtesy visit by ZTCA officials to the NDLEA Kaduna State Command.
According to a statement by the Command’s Media and Advocacy office, the award recognizes the Commander’s exemplary leadership and the Command’s outstanding commitment to integrity, transparency, accountability, and professionalism in the fight against drug abuse and illicit trafficking.
Presenting the award, the President of ZTCA, Amb. Aminu Abbas Arabi, commended the officers and men of the Command for their dedication and professionalism.
He said the recognition was based on the Command’s outstanding operational successes and commitment to ethical service.
“The honour was a collective achievement,” Arabi stated, adding that “a tree cannot make a forest” and therefore celebrated the contributions of every officer and man of the Command.
In his acceptance remarks, CN Maijama’a Muhammad dedicated the award to the officers and men of NDLEA Kaduna State Command, noting that their dedication and commitment made the recognition possible.
He thanked ZTCA for the honour and reaffirmed the Command’s resolve to uphold integrity, transparency, accountability, and professionalism in its operations.
The Commander further emphasized that addressing drug abuse is key to tackling insecurity and called for greater collaboration among stakeholders to build a safer and drug-free society.
