- Gov Radda urges secretaries to publicise government achievements
Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has received a ₦3 million donation from the Association of 34 Local Government Secretaries in support of his 2027 re-election bid.
The association, led by its Chairman and Secretary of Kankara Local Government Area Council, Hon. Saifullahi Mato, presented the donation today while visiting the Governor.
Receiving the donation, Governor Radda thanked the secretaries for their support and contribution, stressing that unity and collective commitment were essential to achieving political success.
He appealed to the secretaries to intensify grassroots mobilisation and sensitisation, urging them to work towards ensuring the success of the APC from top to bottom.
Governor Radda also urged them to continue educating the people on the policies, programmes and achievements of his administration.
He further called on the secretaries to maintain loyalty, tolerance and mutual respect in their dealings with their respective local government chairmen, whom he described as their immediate superiors.
The Governor stressed that unity and a strong working relationship between local government chairmen and secretaries were crucial to effective service delivery and the continued strengthening of the APC in Katsina State.
The event was attended by the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Hon. Abdulkadir Mamman Nasir; members of the Katsina State Executive Council; and other top government officials.
